The Sun Factory is part of the Environmental Equipment Network (XEAB) .



The Fàbrica del Sol is in the building of the old offices of the Catalan Society for Gas Lighting . It will be rehabilitated to be a demonstrative building in the generation of renewable energy, water saving, biodiversity conservation and more sustainable mobility, as it has the Bike Friendly certificate.

The ground floor houses the Environmental Education Documentation Service (SDEA) , a documentation center specialized in environmental education information and resources aimed at people and institutions interested in sustainability education, mainly in the urban area; and the Ateneu de Fabricació , a public space open to everyone, dedicated to sustainability and framed in the city's circular economy and Zero Waste strategy, where you can experience the world of digital manufacturing.

On the first floor are the offices of the Barcelona + Sustainable program that offer support, training and networking through their technical secretaries:
