Located in the midst of one of the most important road networks in Barcelona, this park offers visitors an exceptional number of possibilities: sports fields and model car racing fields, a large picnic space with barbecues and an urban kitchen garden. All within a green space with sober lines where the blue of the water of a long channel, the green of the large grass fields covering a small hill and svelte long lines of European black poplars come together to create a landscape of great beauty.


Activities
Fronton and tennis courts, volleyball, basketball and mini football, ping-pong tables, Municipal Modeling Circuit, children's play area, dog area, barbecue and picnic area, urban garden, bar and toilet services. It is home to rehearsals, small-format musical and theatrical performances, and leisure, leisure, and open-air workshops (dog training, dancing and choreography, etc.). It also celebrates, on its premises, the Week for Coexistence (April), activities of the Festa Major del barri (June), the Festa-Sopar de la Revetlla de Sant Joan (June 23), and Un Parc de Games ”(August), among other events. It also offers an artificial lake-channel of water, fountains and a sculptural exhibition: “Cavalls desbocats”, by Josep Ros (1993), and “Dona que es banya”, by Rafael Bartolozzi (1985).


Biodiversity
The two main plant protagonists of this park are the extensive grass meadows and two long rows of poplars (Populus alba) perfectly aligned, which follow the vault of the hill that encloses the park and form on top of a forest with numerous poplars. (Populus nigra italica). Going up there is an important plantation of olive trees (Olea europaea) and paths that cross the hill, adorned with trojans (Ligustrum lucidum variegata) of an infrequent nuanced green color and with careful pruning have gone from shrub to shrub, and the scarlet color of red-leafed plums (Prunus cerasifera 'Atropurpurea'). Going towards the sports area there are bellaombres (Phytolacca dioica) and acacias (Robinia pseudoacacia), and the picnic area is shaded by the banana tops (Platanus x hispanica). Groups of Leyland cypresses (Cupressocyparis x leylandii) put an end to some areas of the park.
