"Renew Your Clothes" is an initiative to promote conscious consumption and waste prevention promoted by organizations, associations and municipal facilities in the city with the support of the City Council. Exchanges allow reuse, share and consume responsibly. Consuming more does not mean better life and that you can be a waste, for others it can be an opportunity.
Clothing exchanges are carried out in 25 exchange points located throughout the city. Participants must bring their clothes to exchange point where exchanged for "renew" then be exchanged for new clothes they wish at any point in the network. Clothing should be clean, with no stains or holes or descosits. It will take a maximum of 10 pieces. Only accepted apparel. No shoes or underwear or are taken home.
Each exchange points have a few days days of collection and exchange. In addition, throughout the week there will be workshops, lectures and performances on responsible consumption, waste prevention, or creativity, among others.
As a novelty this year will be "Another fashion possible," a presentation of creative initiatives that sell clothes with criteria of social and environmental responsibility with light refreshments. It will take place November 13th, from 19 to 21 pm Space Young Garcilaso. By Elena Salcedo, author of Ethical Fashion for a sustainable future.

Pants, shirts, skirts, dresses, sweaters and jaquetetes 2 renew
Apparel, jackets large ensembles, suits ... 3 renew
This edition suggests online participation through the dissemination of stories and photos on the map More Sustainable Barcelona or tweet with the hashtags # renovalaroba14 and #bcnsostenible.
Citizens may also participate in the "Renew your clothes" as a volunteer in any of the points. More information lafabricadelsol@bcn.cat participation of citizens in the Renew Your clothes can be exchanged for "civis" of CiviClub.
The "Renew Your Clothes" is participating in this year's edition of the III Fair of Solidarity Economy of Catalonia organized by Solidarity Economy Network of Catalonia as a waste prevention program.
Organized by Sinia, the Time Bank MamaG, Lluïsos de Gracia, Barcelona Metropolitan Area with support from the City Council and the collaboration: Collaborative Consumption of Fundación Pueblo para Pueblo Human Roba Amiga Cooperative, Health and Family Association.

From 10 to 30 November takes place a new edition of "Renew your clothes," the network exchange points clothing Barcelona, coinciding with the 6th European Week for Waste Reduction. 25 exchange points in the city waiting. Participate!
