Who are we
Arep for mental health is a non-profit organization born in 1979 to cover the need for care for people with mental health problems in Barcelona.
1 in 4 people suffer from a mental health problem throughout their life. The most common diseases are depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, OCD among others. Arep accompanies the affected people and their families in the process of prevention, acceptance and coexistence with the disease.

Mission
Arep's mission is to improve the living conditions of people with mental health problems between the ages of 15 and 65, their integration into society and the productive system and the fight against the clichés and harms that rather than mental illness itself, they corner and isolate them.

Vision
Arep wants to be a benchmark in direct care, social innovation and the implementation of new inclusive actions in the field of mental health.
