On 4 November 2007 the library opened Sant Antoni - Joan Oliver. Located inside of the block bounded by Calle Manso, Ronda Sant Pau and the streets of Parliament Borrell, is a cultural and proximity to neighbors and the Eixample district. Between the street and the garden, the library is an urban viewpoint Eixample. The library is next to the San Antonio market and named Sabadell writer who lived in the neighborhood, Joan Oliver, also known by the name of Peter wanted.

From the standpoint of social and architectural library works in synergy with the old house and games for children courtyard.

The proposed redevelopment of the island conducted RCR Architects (Rafael Aranda, Carme and Ramon Vilalta Pigem), and has become an old candy factory at a library, a center for the elderly and an interior garden.
