The neighborhood house is located in front of the Casa de l'Aigua, on the island between the streets of Palamós, Garbí and S'Agaró, and responds to a historical demand for the associative and neighborhood fabric of the territory. Thus, from now on Trinitat Nova has a new sociocultural space and proximity to carry out the initiatives of the neighborhood entities and improve the quality of life of the citizens.
The center has 1,012 m2 divided into two floors. The lower floor is integrated into the public space, since the pavements of the urbanization make cover of the building. In this floor there is a main access to the enclosure, which is accessed from a new square on the street of S'Agaró.
The main entrance leads to the four workshop rooms, two test vessels, a recording room and bathrooms and changing rooms. There is also an auditorium, a multipurpose room and exhibitions, an interior courtyard, reception, administration, a kitchen workshop and a meeting room.
On the top floor there is a bar. This plant opens at the top of the workshop area, and the cover of this area has been built as a natural extension of the same street in S'Agaró, so that it generates a second square that acts as a lookout for the Casa de l'Aigua.
El Casal has an energy rating of A for photovoltaic panels on the top cover for self-consumption, and the geothermal air conditioning system that substantially reduces the operating cost.
The same design of the building means that most of the uses are below the street level, so that the ground acts as an insulator and reduces the energy losses. A set of skylights have been added that guarantee the entrance of natural light to all spaces and that are complemented by a lighting support that uses the LED technology in its entirety.
