The Association of Jewellers, Goldsmiths, Watchmakers and Gemmologists of Catalonia is a corporation under public law, of a professional nature, with a democratic structure and its own legal personality, with full capacity to fulfill its purposes, recognized and protected by the Constitution, the Statute of Autonomy of Catalonia, the legislation of professional associations and the Creation Law of the Association of Jewelers, Goldsmiths, Watchmakers and Gemmologists of Catalonia, as well as by the current Legislation on the subjects mentioned.

The College is configured as an instance of management of the interests linked to the exercise of the profession of jeweller, goldsmith, watchmaker, gemmologist and as a vehicle for the participation of the members in the administration of these interests, without prejudice to carry out activities and provide services to members on a private basis.
