The purpose of SETEM Catalunya is to combat the injustices of globalized capitalism by raising awareness, denouncing and mobilizing Catalan citizens, international solidarity and the promotion of an economic model that puts people's rights and needs at the center. SETEM Catalunya sees as essential a social transformation that overcomes consumerism, individualism and fierce competitiveness, and moves towards relationships based on the equitable and sustainable distribution of resources, the social, political and economic empowerment of people and col· schools, social justice and gender equity.
