Torre Jussana - Associations Services Center is a municipal facility jointly managed by the Commissioner for Citizen Participation and Associations of the City Council and the Council of Associations of Barcelona. Both work together to provide services and resources to the associations of the city.
This facilitates co-management that own associations can influence the design of the services offered TJ.
What we do?
Our mission is to promote the development of associations by offering services and resources that meet the needs of the sector, working for the promotion, revitalization and strengthening to extend their influence and public policy.
Who offer services center?
People who are organized in the legal form of association, based in Barcelona city, especially those that work for a general interest, with broad social base and will improve the quality of life of people.
This involves the people who exercise tasks liability partnerships, and so on and especially members of their boards. But we also addressed to individual members, volunteers, technical staff, and all those registered in the Barcelona citizen, not to mention all those who belong to other forms of collective organization and foundations.

Barcelona has a long tradition of associations and has approximately 16,000 associations, thanks to the involvement of volunteers, help to build a more human and friendly city through constant and committed work of thousands of citizens.
Realizing this potential and the need to maintain it, the City Council created in 1995 Municipal Services Agency Associations Jussana Torre, an old farmhouse located in the district of Clot.
Then, Torre Jussana became a benchmark for the associations of the city, reference maintained even when, for structural reasons, had to leave his traditional seat in 2003, moving first to House of the World, and then at the offices of Laguna Street, to return to the original location of the remodeled Cardinal Vidal i Barraquer avenue in October 2008, as the current model of co-management.
