The Catalan Federation of Social Volunteering is the reference platform for social volunteering in Catalonia. We are a network of non-profit entities that work to foster, promote and recognize social volunteering in our country. Our political advocacy aims to ensure that volunteering and associationism, due to their valuable contribution to the democratic improvement of the country, are fostered and recognized as such. Social volunteering in Catalonia collaborates within entities because they know the causes, are experts in social cohesion and can guarantee work for citizen transformation. Today, we bring together nearly 340 entities with which we promote resources and services to favor voluntary action. This task, carried out jointly with all of them, impacts a total of about 85,000 volunteers.
