The main objective of AVV door is the participation of citizens in the neighborhood of Porta in public decisions that directly affect the territory of the district. All this without prejudice to actions taken in the wider city of Barcelona.

The aims are to ensure the fundamental interest of the local neighborhood. Promoting good funcioament of the competent institutions. Encourage neighborhood associations. Promote the construction and maintenance of parks, gardens, green areas, social facilities, schools and cultural and sports facilities in the neighborhood, as well as citizen participation in their management. To promote the realization of the works necessary and convenient for improving urban district and the city. Encourage public participation in the preparation and management of the residential neighborhood to the institutions responsible for proposing ideas and suggestions for solving the problems of the neighborhood.
