Organization and structure of the Barcelona Public Health Agency
The Public Health Agency (ASPB) became operational on January 1, 2003. The Agency is governed by the Governing Board.
For its operation, the organization chart is structured in two blocks, the sectoral directorates that bring together the major branches of production of public health services, and the Directorate of Resources that groups the technostructure, supporting the Management and the units. productive. Its activity is included in the catalog of products and services of the ASPB.
The staff assigned to the services of the ASPB concentrates in several dependencies, and works in some subjects jointly with the districts.

Fenix Project. The entity ABD manages services of the Public Network of Attention to Drug Addictions (CAS of Sarrià i Sants, the CAS of Baluard, Mobile Units, etc. owned by the ASPB) as well as own services directed to the drug addicted population ( Foster Homes, Insertion Flats, job orientation and vocational training projects, etc.). Specifically in the field of horticulture and drug addiction, ABD has developed recreational and pre-work projects such as the Gardening Workshop of the CAS de Sarrià (from 2001 to 2007) as well as insertion projects such as the Works of Deforestation of the Collserola park (Barcelona Provincial Council). The various orchard and gardening projects that develop all the services aimed at the drug-addicted population and the benefits associated with the activity have been the engine of the current project. That is why the project is carried out in alliance with the ASPB, the public body that owns the facilities of the Centers that give space to the development of the Phoenix project.
