Day Center located within the Vallirana Service Center 61.
This center is the result of a project launched by the IPSS Foundation in March 2000.
Located in the heart of the city of Barcelona, between the districts of Sarrià-St. Gervasi, Gràcia and the Eixample. Its area of incidence covers the whole city. It occupies a modernist building adapted to the needs of the elderly and has a large and sunny garden.
The Center offers comprehensive attention to the needs of dependent people affected by a physical and / or cognitive impairment or by some social difficulty that reduces their capacity for autonomy to carry out the activities of daily living.
It is a collaborating center of the Department of Labor, Social Affairs and Family of the Generalitat de Catalunya and has both private and subsidized places.
IPSS Foundation makes the necessary arrangements to provide a means of private transport for customers who require it.

Design, creation and maintenance of a small urban garden on land and maintenance and conservation of the garden of the Day Center for the elderly. The people who use the Day Center take care, with the help of professionals, of maintaining a small urban garden. A monthly session is held monthly with the students of the Manada Gori Gori nursery.
