The COAMB's mission is to represent, defend and promote the role of environmentalists, as well as environmental professionals and students, order the exercise of their profession, ensure professional ethics, and promote respect for the environment among society. With regard to the vision of the College of Environmentalists, this is to become the point of reference for environmental professionals in Catalonia, offering the services they require and maintaining the Institutional, social and environmental projection of the College in order to to strengthen the projection of the profession.

To project this vision, initiatives focused on the promotion of job placement, self-employment and entrepreneurship will be encouraged; the promotion of environmental research and the positioning of environmentalists as researchers and teachers; the quality and consistency of Environmental Science curricula; and the debate and creation of opinion on environmental and sustainability challenges and policies in Catalonia.

Finally, the main values of COAMB are: commitment, networking, excitement, professionalism and transversality.
