Momu is a creative space dedicated to textiles, with a social vocation and a very close relationship with the Poble-sec neighborhood. Our creation and production is based on the utilization of clothing, customization and transformation of garments.
Momu was born from the real need for a workplace where we can develop our profession. From the first moment we realized that this need was beyond us, and we decided to create a space where we could share our knowledge and our passion for sewing with other people.

At Momu, we also have a workshop school where we offer a fully equipped space for training, as a work option and for developing people's creative capacity, with the added value of an innovative and sustainable practice: upcycling.

We wanted to create a project aimed especially at people in a situation of vulnerability, and at the same time contribute to the care of the environment in an active way, giving textile waste a new use.

Our values are sewing and love for people and the planet.
