The Association of Neighbors of the Good Shepherd, from its vocality of solidarity, creates in 2013 the Solidarity Pantry Bon Pastor- Baron of Nursery. The final creation of the Rebost project took place in 2014.

The Pantry is conceived as a service that goes beyond the distribution of food for families with food needs and was born as a community resource that in addition to serving the neighborhood, coordinates and acts with it to generate other projects and / or actions that lead to a healthy diet.

The approach to the pantry as a food collection space was defined as a place where the confidentiality and dignity of the families that were referred by Social Services were respected to the maximum. The service is organized by distributing personalized appointments to the families benefiting from the benefit. For food collection, the point distribution system is contemplated, which allows the family to choose the food they need at the time of collection, as if it were a supermarket.

In recent years, together with the Ribot Pharmacy, CAP de Bon Pastor-Baró de Viver and CSS Franja Besòs has launched a series of projects that delve into healthy eating in order to affect aspects of well-being and health.

As of December 2020, the Pantry of the Good Shepherd-Baron of Viver reached a total of 97 families (about 249 people).

With the aim of promoting healthy eating among the public, the Rebost has promoted workshops for adults, young people and children, and promoting urban gardens as a community asset. In this line, the Endavanta'l project, aimed at citizens, and Endavanta'l Junior for the Bon Pastor and Baró de Viver schools have been carried out for more than five years.
  • Endavanta'l: Through the participation of the nutritionist and a cook, practical cooking workshops are held that allow you to review the diet of families with easy-to-make and nutritious recipes. The success of this project has led to different editions in different age groups.
  • Endavanta'l Junior : The different services involved in the endavanta'l project saw that the food of the minors at breakfast and snack was industrial-style pastries. This led to the creation of a "Master Chef" contest of healthy sandwiches together with the schools. This competition aims to reward the class that works on a theoretical and practical level to make the healthiest and cheapest sandwich in each school.
