principles
The
EAMP neighborhood center has a clear community will, opening up to the neighborhood to respond to the needs that the neighbors consider that can improve the common good. Based on the pandemic generated by COVID19, and giving shape to an idea that had been on the table for some time, this new resource has been created for the neighborhood: the community storage room.
This service aims to make available to the whole neighborhood the resources that the EAMP has and that with COVID19 will not be able to be enjoyed in the space itself. In addition, we open the platform so that this space goes beyond the doors of the camp itself, being open to people and organizations of all kinds.
We want to encourage the use rather than the ownership of things, values such as sustainability, collaboration and good neighborliness. #February!
How it works
In the community storage room of the Clot-Camp de l'Arpa you will find three "shelves"
Loan: mainly games, tools and books that you can use temporarily at home and return in good condition so that other neighbors can also enjoy them.
Exchange: if you have something at home that no longer serves you and you think that someone might find it useful, you can "advertise" it and exchange it through the storage room so that someone else can take advantage of it. From the EAMP we will manage the exchange. If no one serves it within a month, it will no longer appear in the storage room.
Entities: the Federation of Entities of Clot-Camp de l'Arpa makes various material available to entities in the neighborhood. In this "shelf" you will find the material and the conditions of use.
The storage room is open to all people who want to be part of it. For issues of logistics and good use, you will need to register and become a member of the storage room. A symbolic price has been established to be able to use it (€5 single fee), a price established both to generate a commitment to the service and to confirm acceptance of the
rules of use .
